Esha Deol gets married in a lavish ceremony

After a lavish sangeet ceremony, followed by the mehndi ceremony, veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra's elder daughter Esha Deol got married to beau Bharat Takhtani in a traditional South Indian ceremony at Isckon temple in Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb, this morning.

Dressed in a cream-coloured sherwani, the bridegroom arrived in a horse-drawn carriage to the venue.

Dharmendra and Hema Malini were all smiles as they stood at the entrance of the venue to welcome their son-in-law.

The new bride and her mother have a moment at the ceremony.
While Hema wore a kanjivaram sari, Esha's bridal sari was sourced from Chennai and styled by designer Neeta Lulla.

Abhishek Bachchan, who worked with Esha Deol in the first Dhoom film, spoke to the media on his way to the wedding. He was accompanied by father Amitabh Bachchan.

Actor and Esha's cousin Abhay Deol looked dapper in a bandhgala as he arrived with his beautiful girlfriend Preeti Desai.

Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, who directed Dharmendra and Hema Malini in the cult film Sholay, arrived with wife Kiran Juneja.

Actor and politician Vinod Khanna looked charming in a kurta as he arrived with wife Kavita.
